We’re delighted to announce our next event, which will be held in the Isle of Man at the end of this month.
Nicole Stott is a retired astronaut, aquanaut and STEAM advocate. Her missions on the Space Shuttle Discovery and time on the International Space Station afford her a unique perspective of Earth, and is kindly sharing her thoughts on what it is like to live in Space, and equally, how to resume a ‘normal’ life on planet Earth.
This event is open to all, and will be held in the Manx Museum on Sunday May 29th, 2016 in the Lecture Theatre, with registration and refreshments from 1830, starting at 1930. Nicole will speak for approximately one hour followed by a Q&A session, the evening closing at 2100.
This is a rare opportunity to listen to an Astronaut speak of their experiences and life above and on, planet Earth.
