The Space Tourism debate continues as both interest and concern grows at a worldwide level. Space Tourism offers not only entertainment, but other benefits such as access to alternative airspace routes which offer shorter flying times, and opportunities for technology creation and innovation.
The advent of Space Tourism raises technical, commercial and regulatory issues, as well as economic and political challenges, the full scope of which warrants a systematic and complete approach, shared by all stakeholders. This workshop has the ambitious goal of focusing attention on the insurance of all aspects of Space Tourism.
HFW Partner Nick Hughes will be a panellist in the afternoon session, which will cover solutions in terms of liability regime, licensing policy and insurance mechanisms.
